I'm Terry Holland and I live in Carmarthenshire, Wales . The site was previously started as a homepage site on Compuserve which is a smaller site with my original tutor.

I enjoy teaching and playing Bluegrass (and Old Timey) Banjo now I am retired - after a heart attack - (was Lecturer in Engineering (CADCAM/CNC).

If you save some of my pages, and the sound doesn't work, you MAY need to save, in the same directory as the pages, the java files needed to play the sounds . Some servers will only transfer files with a three letter filename extension - so down load these files and then alter the file extention as directed :-
Player.jav - right mouse click - save as . rename the ext .java
Player.cla - right mouse click - save as . rename the ext .class
Timer.cla - right mouse click - save as . rename the ext .class

For Windows XP you will have to down load JAVA code from Sun microsystems and enable it on your internet options in control panel (Java was built into Internet Explorer 5 but now has to be loaded for Explorer 6)
